Guys, this smoothie is legit. 


Like so legit it’s featured in one of the juice bars in my hometown


I'm not joking- It’s called the Celeste Green Delight and it’s a best seller! If you are ever in Bridgeport, CT visit P-one Juice Bar and order it. 

However, if Connecticut is too far away, I’m sharing this recipe that you can make in the comfort of your own home!


So, how did I even come around to making this smoothie?


Actually, it all started with just being curious. I needed to make sure that I was getting a healthy breakfast but it needed to be quick. 


If you're like me, you have tried drinking "green" smoothies before; and time and time again they just taste like ... grass.

So I went to work in the kitchen.


I started off with a spinach base and added bananas to increase the natural sweetness. The peanut butter masks the taste of the spinach and the pumpkin seeds and cashews add the perfect nuttiness to the smoothie. 


Often times, when I stop eating healthy its because I'm caught up in the "busyiness" of life. I can even get so busy that taking some time off for myself seems like a total waste of time. 


But I come to realize that the best way to incorporate self-care into my daily routine is to start with what I eat.  


If you're wanting to take better care of your body and feed it yummy but nutritious food really quick... this smoothie is for you. 




1 banana 

2 tablespoons of peanut butter 


2 good handfuls of spinach 

1 cup of vanilla almond milk or soy milk 

1 tsp of nutmeg 


You can honestly stop here. This alone is amazing and When I don’t have all the extra ingredients I often just keep it simple... if you want to spice it up keep going 



2 tablespoons of Pumpkin seeds 

1 tablespoon of  Cashews 

1 scoop of Vanilla protein power 

Add a drizzle of Honey
